November Club is a team of four, led by Chief Executive and Artistic Director Joe Hufton, who joined the company in October 2020. November Club is governed by eight Trustees and regularly employs freelance creatives to support the production of new work.

November Club’s Board of Trustees has successfully delivered two Arts Council England National Portfolio cycles and work closely with Joe to set the direction and shape of the company.

In 2021 November Club welcomed to the Board Olivier Award-winning theatre producer Chris Foxon from Papatango as well as Senior Lecturer and Director of (Research) Impact at Newcastle University Business School, Fiona Whitehurst. More recently, November Club appointed Helen Fussell, a freelance arts and culture PR specialist to the Board.

Helen Fussell added:
“I’m delighted to join November Club’s Board of Trustees. I work with a number of North East theatre companies and love to champion work in our region. I grew up in a rural working-class town in Cumbria and having seen first-hand the positive impact arts and culture can have in similar communities in Northumberland, I’m really interested in the way November Club collaborates with local people and places.”

Chris Foxon said:
“November Club's mission, to build creative pathways and generate cultural opportunities for all, speaks to everything I am most passionate about in the arts. I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the company's work in my home region, which I know is bursting with talent and stories. I'm very excited to see what the future holds for November Club, our artists and our audiences.”
